These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made on our website. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. While we primarily serve the catering trade, these terms acknowledge and protect the statutory rights of consumers under UK law.
3. Products and Information
We aim to ensure product descriptions, images, and prices are accurate. Images are for illustration purposes only. Availability may change at any time.
4. Placing an Order
- A contract is formed when we dispatch the goods or confirm dispatch.
- We may cancel an order due to stock issues, pricing errors, or delivery restrictions. If we cancel, a full refund will be issued immediately.
5. Prices and Payment
Prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT at the prevailing rate. Delivery costs are clearly shown at checkout. We accept major credit/debit cards and secure online payments.

7. Your Right to Cancel (UK Consumers)
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations, consumers purchasing for personal use have the right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason.
- Returns: Items must be returned within 14 days of cancellation notification, unused and in original packaging.
- Return Costs: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty.
- Refunds: Refunds are processed within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods.
- Business Customers: Please refer to our Return Policy for trade return conditions and restocking fees.
8. Exceptions
Cancellation rights do not apply to bespoke/made-to-order equipment, personalized goods, or hygiene-sealed items once unsealed.
9. Faulty or Damaged Goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described and of satisfactory quality. If an item is faulty or damaged on arrival, please contact us at info@caterx.co.uk within 24 hours so we can assist with a courier claim. This does not affect your statutory rights to a repair, replacement, or refund.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
