Shipping Policy

We deliver commercial catering equipment across the United Kingdom. Delivery options, costs, and estimated dates are clearly calculated and displayed at checkout.

1. Delivery Costs

  • Delivery prices are calculated at checkout based on the weight and size of your order.
  • All delivery charges are shown in GBP (£) and are inclusive of VAT.

2. Dispatch & Delivery Times

We process orders Monday through Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).

  • Order Cut-off Time: 1:00 PM (GMT)
  • Handling Time: 1–2 business days (Mon–Fri)
  • Transit Time: 3–5 business days (Mon–Fri)
  • Total Estimated Delivery: 4–7 business days

3. Delivery Areas

We currently deliver to mainland UK. Orders to remote areas (including the Highlands and Islands) may incur additional delivery charges or longer transit times.

4. Heavy Items & Pallet Delivery

Many of our commercial products are large or heavy and may be delivered via a specialist pallet courier.

  • Kerbside Delivery Only: Drivers are insured to deliver to the nearest accessible point at your premises (e.g., curb or loading bay). They cannot unpack items or carry them inside.
  • Please ensure you have adequate assistance available to move heavy equipment into your premises.

5. Inspection on Arrival

Please inspect your items immediately upon delivery. If you notice visible damage to the packaging:

  • Accept the delivery but sign for it as “Damaged”.
  • Take photos and contact us at info@caterx.co.uk within 24 hours so we can assist with a courier claim.
  • Note: This request helps us manage insurance claims and does not affect your statutory rights regarding faulty goods.
