Return & Refund Policy

At CaterX, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. As we primarily serve the catering trade, our policy distinguishes between consumer and business purchases to comply with UK law.

1. Return Window

  • Consumers (Personal Use): You have 14 days from the date of delivery to notify us of your intent to return an item for any reason under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
  • Business Customers (Trade): Returns are at our discretion. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery. Approved business returns may be subject to a restocking fee.

2. Eligibility & Condition

  • Items must be unused, in the same condition you received them, and in the original packaging.
  • Exceptions: Customized, made-to-order equipment, or hygiene-sealed items (once opened) are non-returnable unless faulty.

3. Return Shipping Costs

  • Faulty or Damaged Goods: CaterX will cover the cost of return shipping or provide a free replacement.
  • Change of Mind: The customer is responsible for paying the return shipping costs. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

4. Refund Process

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If approved, your refund will be processed within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods.
  • A credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. Please note that banks may take additional time to post this to your account.
